Case 36: A straight forward Immediate loading done in site 1.3

Case 36: A straight forward Immediate loading done in site 1.3

Immediate loading is the process when we restore a crown on an implant  on the day of surgery itself. This is a viable option especially when restoring anterior edentulous sites. These zones are subjected to less masticatory load and are considered non-load bearing zones.

This case is a simple case with missing 1.2 congenitally where 1.3 has erupted in place of 1.2. The ideal plan was to complete orthodontics and distalise 1.3 into its desired position followed by implant in 1.2. But, the patient was not ready for the orthodontic treatment owing to its time duration.

Hence, after CBCT analysis the edentulous site was planned for an immediate loaded dental implants with a screw retained immediate provisionalisation done with direct composite layering.

This case was done by me at Parasu Dental Hospital, Chennai
