Image
Here is a case where the entire rehabilitation was carried out digitally. Its a case of terminal dentition of maxillary arch with no loss of vertical dimension. It all starts with diagnostic photographs and video to assess the lip dynamics and expected esthetic outcome. 2-d Photoshop smile design is carried out and communicated to the lab for a digitally guided stackable guide that involves guides for bone reduction, osteotomy and immediate provisionalisation which is seen in sequence here. When ready for final prosthesis, a prototype is milled to verify the digital impression thats carried out using truabutment scanbodies. the final zirconia prostheis was made hybrid with a titanium frame with direct screws over MUAs.  Anterior esthetic zones are challenging. It requires proper planning and execution. In this case we see an endodontically treated 11 that fractured. 11 has a non esthetic PFM crown. The case was planned for an immediate implant with GBR and delayed loaded prosthesis. After the extraction and immediate placement, the jumping distance was grafted with Allograft cortico cancellous bone  Osteo-oss and primary closure achieved with an RTM Collagen barrier used. After 5 months tissue training was carried out with a provisional screw retained temporary. Once the desired esthetic profile was achieved, final definitive Itero Scan was performed using scan body and Custom staining and shade match was done to match and achieve the desired esthetics. This case was carried out by me at Eastview Dental, Barrie, Ontario

Additionally the patient wanted implanted in the anterior edentulous site. After CBCT assessment and clinical examination, it required necessary bone augmentation procedures before implantation. But patient declined the treatment and insisted on  other options. The bone was adequate for a narrow implant with additional grafting during the procedure and hence two implants were planned for the missing...
